Helping HexClad launch & scale Canadian fulfillment
HexClad needed a Canadian 3PL partner that could handle inventory growth, DTC orders, retail requirements, Amazon prep, returns, and shipping performance without slowing the brand down.
After massive U.S. growth, HexClad set its sights on Canada
In 2023, HexClad was preparing to expand into Canada after seeing major momentum in the United States. The brand needed a fulfillment partner that could help move quickly - from setup and onboarding to inventory receiving, operational workflows, and launch readiness.
247 worked closely with the HexClad team to support the Canadian launch in a tight timeframe, helping create the fulfillment foundation needed to serve Canadian customers from day one.
Canadian growth created operational complexity
HexClad’s expansion into Canada meant more inventory, more channels, more retail requirements, and more pressure on shipping costs. The operation needed to support fast-moving DTC orders, large inventory influx and turbulent sales periods while also preparing inventory for retail and Amazon workflows.
A fulfillment operation built to support powerful growth
The goal was not just to store cookware. It was to create an operation that could handle higher inventory volume, multiple channels, and shipping pressure without losing control. By leveraging 247's systems and bicoastal network, HexClad was able to scale across Canada while reducing shipping costs by 21%.
Bundle-heavy promotions without operational chaos
HexClad frequently runs offer periods where orders can involve cookware sets, add-ons, promotional bundles, and multi-component products. 247’s WMS made it easy to translate those offers into clean warehouse execution.
During promotional spikes, 247 could support higher bundle volume while keeping orders moving through the warehouse.
Bundles remained connected to individual SKU availability, helping avoid oversells and fulfillment confusion.
Multi-item cookware sets, gifts, add-ons, and promotional offers could be picked and packed with repeatable instructions.

One operation for DTC, retail, Amazon, and returns
247 helped support a Canadian operation where inventory, fulfillment, channel requirements, and transportation could be managed in one connected workflow.
From Costco Roadshows and Amazon replenishments to daily ecommerce orders, 247 manages fulfillment across channels through a connected warehouse network, ensuring inventory is positioned strategically and shipments are delivered as efficiently as possible.
From Canadian launch to bicoastal fulfillment coverage
Following a successful Canadian launch in Toronto, 247 helped expand HexClad into a bicoastal Canadian fulfillment network that reduced shipping costs, improved customer delivery times, and supported growing DTC, Amazon FBA, and Costco demand nationwide.
Bicoastal fulfillment helped reduce shipping costs by 21%
Cookware creates a challenging shipping profile. Products are heavier, boxes are larger, and multi-piece orders can become expensive to move when every shipment is routed from one origin point.
By using 247’s Toronto and BC fulfillment nodes, combined with strong carrier rates for heavier, oversized, and multi-package shipments, HexClad reduced shipping costs by 21% while improving delivery coverage across Canada.
247 connected directly to Fulfil for smooth syncing
HexClad’s sales channels feed into Fulfil as their central ERP. From there, 247 built and supported a custom connection that syncs orders, inventory, purchase orders, and fulfillment data directly into our warehouse workflow.
This lets HexClad continue managing operations inside Fulfil, while 247 receives the structured data needed to receive inventory, allocate orders, pick, pack, ship, and keep stock levels aligned.
“We have been working with the team at 247 and could not be happier. Great organization and order fulfillment, especially during the offer periods. They are on top of it.”
