Cookware brands · Ecommerce, retail & Amazon

A cookware order can contain a heavy pan, a glass lid, a handle that needs clearance, and a coated surface that must arrive without scratches. When you sell sets, the order also has to include the right sizes and components.

247 provides cookware fulfillment for direct-to-consumer orders, wholesale and retail shipments, and Amazon FBA preparation. We support protective packaging, kitting, heavy and multi-carton products, and returns handled according to your brand’s instructions.

Build the packing instructions around the cookware

A skillet, a stockpot, and a boxed cookware set need different handling instructions. The starting point is your product: its weight, finish, fragile components, original packaging, and the condition you expect customers to receive it in.

For coated pans, specify which surfaces need separation and whether nesting is permitted. For glass lids, identify the required protection and how the lid should sit inside the carton. Handles, knobs, and rims need attention too, especially when a product can move inside its packaging.

Your packing specification should define the approved carton, protective materials, product orientation, and any inserts. If a set travels in more than one carton, document which components belong in each carton. Give the specification a version number and include photos of the approved pack. Before changing a carton, lid protector, or insert, agree on the first orders that will use it, what happens to the old materials, and who can approve a substitute. Check a sample pack before releasing the change.

Keep pans, lids, and set components matched

Two pans can look similar and still belong to different product lines. A lid may share a stated diameter with a pan without being an approved match. Colour, finish, size, and model should be identifiable at the SKU level, with clear instructions for any compatible replacement parts.

For multi-piece sets, provide a bill of materials: the exact component SKUs and quantities included in each sellable set. Include accessories and inserts that form part of the customer’s purchase, and explain how your piece count is defined.

247 supports kitting for cookware sets and promotional bundles. The right setup depends on whether sets arrive assembled, need to be prepared ahead of demand, or share components with individual products. Our kitting and virtual bundles guide covers the distinction.

Understand the shipping cost of the finished carton

Cookware is often heavy, but weight is only part of the shipping calculation. A long handle or a bulky set can increase the carton’s dimensions. Additional protection can also change the final package size.

For a useful fulfillment quote, share the packed weight and outside carton dimensions for your main order types. Include both single-item orders and common combinations. For multi-carton sets, provide the measurements for every carton and explain which items ship together.

Those details help establish a realistic basis for comparing shipping options. Read our dimensional weight shipping audit for a practical way to review the packages behind your parcel costs.

Support online orders, retail shipments, and Amazon

Your own website may sell a single frying pan, while a retailer orders full cases and Amazon requires a specific preparation process. Each channel needs its own instructions.

247’s retail fulfillment services support routing guides, carton labels, advance shipping notices, and pallet preparation. Share the retailer’s current requirements with your order details so the shipment can be planned around them.

For inventory headed to Amazon, our Amazon FBA prep service supports the preparation step before delivery to Amazon. Include the product packaging, set configuration, and applicable preparation requirements when discussing your program.

Decide what happens to returned cookware

A damaged outer carton, a missing lid, and a used pan require different decisions. Your return instructions should define what can return to available inventory, what needs review, and what must be kept aside.

If you offer replacement lids, handles, or other spare components, identify the approved SKU combinations and the conditions for sending a replacement. Define whether an incomplete returned set can be rebuilt and who approves that decision. 247’s returns processing follows your brand’s documented requirements.
